Vane Airflow meter: Still considered speed density?

A student of mine asked me a question I couldn't answer last week. He wanted to know why the Ford 2.3 Escort with PFI and a VAF (vane airflow meter) is considered to be a speed density system. My guess is that the VAF cannot compensate for such things as humid... Login to read more.
