Re: Gasoline ICE combustion confusion
My 2 cents on the pinging. As it was explained to me, all other things being equal, the lower octane fuel/air mix travels into the combustion chamber with a more ragged edge. Several of the points of the ragged edge will ignite causing the rest of the mixture ... Login to read more. ![]()
