Re: Piston rings rotating while in service?
All rings are inclined to rotate due to the rocking of the piston. An abrasive particle between the ring and the groove will often leave a microscopic saw tooth wear mark showing the tiny advance in position with every revolution. The rings rotate at different... Login to read more. ![]()
