I've got to agree with Mark. We had a Mitsu in that did that and drove us NUTS, too- I can't remember what it was, maybe a '91 Eclipse or 3000, but it would cycle like you say, and still do it after the IAC was unplugged. Replacing the IAC fixed it- $200-3... Login to read more.
