If an ACEA A3/B3 rated 5W-30 has a different 'effective' viscosity than an ILSAC GF-4 rated 5W-30, and they are both API approved, how do you pick the 'best' oil for a vehicle when the manufacturer's only specification is "Any 5W-30 bearing the API starburst"?... Login to read more.
