Rags is correct.

Don't forget that Valvoline also puts the claim "ACEA A1 protection" on their products that fail ACEA A1.

API SM and ILSAC GF-4 made absolutely no required reduction in zinc. They did reduce Sulfated Ash, Phosphorous and Sulfer (SAPS).
