Can an O2 sensor cause poor fuel economy?

Just curious, but I have a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500, 4x4, auto trans and 4.7L engine. Have noticed a significant drop in fuel mpg. Engine runs great. Just installed platinum plugs about 3000 miles ago. Currently has 70,200 miles. Has a flowmaster exhaust system. Us... Login to read more.
