Re: Pressurized Overflow Tanks -- Why?
As I understand them, they are purge tanks. This helps the purge the air from the cooling system in attempt to eliminate any spots in the engine, thus making the cooling system more effective. We use them on racecars for that reason. HTH Login to read more. ![]()
