Brake fluid with too high a water content boils at lower temps, Certainly low enough to boil in real world conditions, possibly causing brake fade/ failure. Valvoline says that there dot 3 & 4 braake fluid has a "dry" boiling point of over 500 degrees. add wat... Login to read more.
