I've read a couple of pieces which suggested that lacking a scanner, a "good enough" bleed of an ABS unit can sometimes be performed by taking the vehicle out on a loose surface (gravel, snow, ice...) performing several ABS-engaging stops, then re-bleeding the... Login to read more.
