In that case, why not just use the lubricant(s) called for by the manufacturer? I saw first hand working for the Ford dealer that failure to use 15W40 in the diesels was a nightmare.... and what using other that 5W30 in a Z-Tech engine could do.... You suppose... Login to read more.
