Hello Jim,

"Who told you that? If a cat is working, it is oxidizing. If it is oxidizing, it makes heat. The function of STFT is to send the mixture rich then lean to store/consume O2 to keep the cat "lit" so to speak. Maybe OBD2 is different, but I can prove... Login to read more.
