Ok, I'll just say it. Tires stop the vehicle. Just as tires perpetuate the vehicle down the road. Once a tire locks up and skids it's ability to stop the vehicle in a timely mannor is greatly reduced. The same as the tire that is spinning faster (burning out) ... Login to read more.
