Yes, 'steam errosion' is the biggest enemy of plastic/nylon 66 radiator tanks, even more so than heat alone. On the solder-together radiators, the steam would weaken the seam, the plastic-tank-radiator (PTR) tanks will become very brittle and crack/sp... Login to read more.
