I just had a mini-class on rotor resurfacing. A slow cut on a properly-tuned Ammco lathe with good bits, followed by one minute with 150 grit sandpaper while spinning in the lathe will produce a roughness average (RA) around 40-60 with less than 0.002 runout. ... Login to read more.
