Not to split hairs :-) but 8 1/2 minutes is an average. Given the earth wobbles on its axis with the seasons, the 8 1/2 minutes is less in summer and longer in winter if the lamp is in the northern hemisphere. I have no idea why I thought of that. Too much thi... Login to read more.
