I'm not sure I buy into the higher VE at high elevations either. Say a piston sweeps 50 CI. If 50 CI actually entered the cylinder, you have 100% VE. At higher altitude and less pressure(density), that 50 CI of air will obviously have less MASS, but it still i... Login to read more.
