The fuse is 30a rated, but the individual "relay" (internal to the ccrm) is likely rated somewhat less, probably 15a. It is likely the "short" to ground was not a perfect short, but was drawing somewhere between the "relay" capacity, and the fuse rating. Appro... Login to read more.
