Re: reverse polarity
You wouldn't use the diode in-line, you would use it as a 'crowbar' across the input. Reverse polarity would simply go thru the crowbar and the current rush would blow whatever fuse was on that circuit. You could use a 18V Zener diode and have overvoltage prot... Login to read more. ![]()
