While your 3" rod on a 3" stroke may dwell at bdc for 180 degrees. You have to consider that it will also reach bdc 90 degrees after tdc. Pressures would be pretty low moveing the piston away from tdc that fast not to mention the piston would run into the cran... Login to read more.
