Just my 2 cents. But, it seems that if the computer used to carry out an ECM update can be infected by a virus, ie. a PC running windows. (Such as Volvo uses for the VADIS system.) Then it may be possible for a virus whos intended target was not the vehicle(s)... Login to read more.
