I recently had a '87 Ciera 2.5L with a high idle (up to 2200)-rpm's) and MIL, codes 34; MAP high, 35; idle speed error, & 45; Rich. Turned out that the EGR was sticking open intermitently. This year has no EGR code. Login to read more.
