Good point, Carl. The + or- .004" is a good rule, especially for tuning the cam on a street engine. If you put in your 3.50 gears, add .004" If you put in your 4.11s, subtract .004" A cam with only .008" - .010" lash isn't very "tuneable." Login to read more.
