Re: Why are oil pumps timed?
1) If the gears themselves are timed to each other, then
they are a "NON HUNTING GEAR SET" ie. 1:1, 2:1 or numbers
easily divisible into each other. This makes them "wear
matched" so its like putting the same rocker with the same
valve etc. ![]()
