Did some little conversions as I work in oC. Your 450oF equates to 232oC and my literature (yes it may be wrong I'll admit!) states that CORRECT conversion and measurement will not start until the sensor reaches approx. 350oC and works best at approx 650oC +. ... Login to read more.
