Re: Chrysler O2, Self Test Or Heater Test?
The 5V bias (thru a resistor) is put out by the ECM to test
the resistance of the O2S. If the O2S is warmed up enough,
it's internal resistance will be low enough to 'sink' the
5V bias below 1V and the ECM knows the O2S is ready for
action. ![]()
