Ok, you might have overfilled it. Most people pump 5 qts. in them and ship 'em. But how could that make the timing chain cover gasket leak? Maybe if you put 8 or 10 qts. in and the one of the crank seals blows out...ok. I doubt a quart over will make the timin... Login to read more.
