Re: Connecting rods-oiler hole-why is it there?
Hi Craig (say "Hi" to Stephanie, my grand-daughter) The hole is there to oil the major thrust side of the piston & cylinder. Since there is more pressure on the connecting rod on the power stroke than on the compression stroke the oil hole should be on the sid... Login to read more. ![]()
