From my experience with Ford, CKP is monitored by watching RPM PID. The CMP will usually read "Yes or NO" Fault Present=Yes. No fault present=No. My NGS isn't updated to 2003 yet so I can't tell you if this applies to your vehicle. Personally I prefer scoping ... Login to read more.
