Makes sense to me. The CKP is sending the WRONG tach signal because it is broke. It is telling the ECM and scanner it is taching higher than the engine ACTUALLY is. The ECM is pulling out IAC counts in order to bring it down to its target commanded RPM. The re... Login to read more.
