Don't know the answer re sulphur hurting cats. but I tell you that the sulphur content varies seasonally in Australia. You can always pick when the sulphur content is high as the exhaust smells like rotten eggs (Hydrogen sulphide). Very noticeable on freeways.... Login to read more.
