You will mainly be reading CO, CO2 and NOX, there is not much HC from diesel. The modern diesel engine that has a particulate filter does not have soot. So, it would not harm your machine. I wouldn't stick the probe in a 1981 Mercedes diesel sedan. ;-) Login to read more.
