I know for a fact a MY11 will disable the injectors with the VLOM unplugged, don't know what a MY15 will do but I bet its the same.

I think a misfire is a misfire. At 2krpm each cylinder is firing 1k times a minute or 16.66 times a second so I think its moot... Login to read more.
