The only way to go in an excursion is the diesel. Have a customer with one of each. The V10 gets 8mpg max. The diesel gets 15 pulling a 8,000 lb trailer and 21 when he goes to Maine. I borrowed it one weekend and got almost 16 pulling my trailer. Can't say wha... Login to read more.
