That does sound like Ron was movin on. The closest I can come to that was in '69 I drove from New Orleans, to San Diego(about 2000 miles)in 30 hours. That doesn't sound so great except this was before I-10 or I-20 was finished, and I was driving a '62 Catalina... Login to read more.
