I used to use the Gunk brand brake cleaner, non-chlorinated. When Gunk left the Canadian market a few years ago I reverted bake to Kleen Flo 313. It works well also, but I just ordered the last batch of "old formula" 313. New brake cleaner formula uses acetone... Login to read more.
