I noticed at least 1 of my torque wrenches are labeled as ft-lb. I always understood 100 lb-ft (or ft-lb) as being 100 lb of force(weight) applied exactly at 12" from the center of the fastener. I hear either expression and it never threw me off. Login to read more.
