How much weight would actually be saved by reducing size of motors? I obviously have never weighed one but the Tesla motor/ drivetrain just doesn't appear that large. I suppose maybe 100-200 pounds but in the grand scheme of a 4,000 pound vehicle, doesn't seem... Login to read more.
