A friend and I put a Ford Ranger drivetrain in a 83 RX-7 once upon a time. I would use the manual transmission and a slightly smaller carb a 650cfm should be more than enough unless you have more than 12.0 to 1 compression ratio. Don't forget you... Login to read more.
