I-70 goes right through some of the higher mountains. 80 goes through flatter land as does 40. 80 is the fastest. If you go 70, go over Loveland Pass instead of through Eisenhower tunnel. You get up to 12k plus feet that way. Also get to go over Helper Summit ... Login to read more.
