Left image is fuel pump current on empty tank. Pump is turning 7440 RPM and drawing about 2 amps average. Scale is 1.25 amps and 2 millisec per division.

Right image is same pump after adding fuel to tank. Pump is turning 5920 RPM and drawing about 4.6 amps ...
