2013 Buick LaCrosse, ECM/Inputs/Outputs Schematic
Diagram showing 5V1 (5V reference 1) and the sensors it feeds. All these sensors share the same reference and the same ground. A short in any sensor can affect all the other sensors sharing the same 5V bus. This is a parallel circuit.
