| 1997 Ford Taurus GL 3.0L Poor Idle Quality, Surge, lean VIN: 1FALP52U9V Have an 1997 ford taurus. Has the 3.0. and is running very lean. Will idle but when giving some Throttle it will die. If the maf is unplugged it will run. But not well. Idle will surge. Can even drive it. Only codes are P1504 idle air control. P1409 EGR va...
