| 2018 Kia Forte EX 2.0L MIL Lamp on VIN: 3KPFK4A79J Car came in with engine light on, P0014. Verified engine was still in time, but exhaust cvvt had movement dowel pin backed out. | 2000 Subaru Outback Limited 2.5L battery VIN: 4S3BH6864Y drains battery overnight. changed battery because it left my wife sit, new battery, next day dead. charged back up checked for draw , found only the fuse to the interior (room) ckt causing a draw. removed that fuse, next day dead. | 2017 Hyundai Tucson 2.0L Unsure As it turns out it was faulty a faulty bearing in the differential part of the transaxle. The sound was captured and amplified in the transfer case pinion especially with the rear driveshaft attached. Lesson here, things are not always what they sound like ! |

| 2005 Nissan Xterra Off-Road 4.0L Cuts out, MIL Lamp on VIN: 5N1AN08W25 Problem found. There was a tooth broken off of the plate behind the flywheel that triggers the crank sensor signal. 3 or 4 teeth before the broken one had obviously been rubbed on. Gotta figure out why before it is put back together. So the oscilloscope did... Trouble codes: P0335 (Crank Sensor Circuit). |
