2015 Ford F-150 Lariat 5.0L column shifter VIN: 1FTEW1CFXF
The shift cable was the culprit. It makes some nasty turns in getting to the bottom. This column is not like previous Ford columns, and I really thought that it was a column issue. Also, it didn't look like it was damaged due to some type of exhaust damage.
