| 2001 Ford Ranger XL 2.5L MIL Lamp on, Hi idle VIN: 1FTYR10C31 Well, this was unexpected. As some suggested, we replaced the VSS but this did not correct the issue. What we found was the A/C compressor was unplugged. Without the A/C clutch ON the IAC was commanded high without a load to compensate for. Apparently the ECU ...
