| 2005 Volkswagen Jetta 2.5 2.5L Angle sensor VIN: 3VWSF71K65 We fixed a running issue w/Jetta, Battery disconnected during repair. I cannot reset steering angle sensor. As instructed, went into 44 steering assist, entered value of 40168. I get code 7F 31 31 service refuses code. Anyone been there? Jim |

We ended up replacing the tensioner on the chain and appears to have solved our problem. Sometimes these things can make your hair turn gray. | 2005 Volkswagen Jetta 2.5 2.5L No Start VIN: 3VWSF71K65 Thomas had it pinned. My find does not come w/out a twist, When I started, we had a check engine lamp, but no start, no power to pin #23 ecm. After we messed w/harness, and (try-o-nostics) w/used ecm, we lost the check engine lamp entirely. We went back over ... Trouble codes: 0314 (0314 ecm no signal). |
