Thanks for the help on this one guys- we still have it hear on the back burner with the customer in a loaner we own (thank God). We have substituted a known good ecu, added grounds where tech support at Autovitals suggested- followed up on your ideas and still... Trouble codes: P1357, P1366, P1363, P1369, P1372, P1358.

Several members suggested that a transmission whine was more likely than a noise from the oil pump. I agree, but the noise was much louder at the front of the engine oil pan just below the oil pump than at the front of the transmission. If the car comes back ...
