Truck came in in limp mode, Pulled p0973 3/4 overdrive sol. ckt. Tested and found 3/4 sol open. Drop pan and replace 3/4 sol assy and harness- had to lower valve body. New filter and 8 or so qts atf +4. Fluid was old and no debris in pan. Test drive after code...

We were not able to fix this car, but the customer took it to the dealer and they found a section of the engine harness that was burned and shorted. The problem is apparently fixed. thanks for the suggestions.
