this vehicle is now repaired there is 2 red/yellow wires that feed power to the solenoids, 1 wire did not have 12v and found it to be rotted in the harness!

Thank all of you for the helpful info. I'm still waiting for the head to get back from the repair shop. As I stated earlier, this is a mistake I won't forget. I try and not take my work home, but this one is haunting me.
